PHILIPP PLEIN

Upon completion of the Gymnasium Schloss Salem boarding school on Lake Constance, he studied at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen law. Plein by the strong interest in art by his parents shaped. Numerous travel and related visits to museums awoke in him an early interest in art, architecture and foreign cultures. Since 1998, he began exclusive pieces of furniture for his family and friends to design. 2004, a street-fashion collection added. His first shop he opened in the Munich disco Nobel P1.

2008 he visited Heidi Klum and the participants from Germany's Next Topmodel in Barcelona with a "heavy metal" collection, and the models required the international Naomi Campbelland Marcus Schenkenberg Vogue for a campaign.

Philipp Plein 2009 cooperates with Mattel and presented at the 50th Birthday of the Barbie doll Philipp Plein-Barbie on 4 February 2009 at the Toy Fair in Nuremberg.

In June 2010 a photoshoot with Mischa Barton was released. Plein announced that Barton was the new face of his couture collection. Plein revealed Being in the limelight for a young and beautiful girl, the looks of course always get a lot of attention, Mischa Barton got a lot and learned to live with her fame.. For me it was the big challenge to again show her as a diva, a rock n roll Goddess.
